membership — what's included, how it works and what to expect.

1. About Club Icon Bangladesh
Club Icon Bangladesh ("Club Icon Bangladesh", "the Programme", "we", "us", "our") is a paid annual lifestyle membership programme operated at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport. The Programme offers members exclusive privileges across dining, accommodation, spa, wellness and lifestyle experiences. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between the member and Club Icon Bangladesh. By enrolling, paying for, or using the Programme, the member confirms acceptance of these Terms in full.

2. Definitions
  • "Member" / "you" / "your" — the individual who has paid the membership fee and whose name is registered on the Programme.
  • "Spouse Card" — the secondary membership issued at no extra fee to the member's spouse, valid only for discounts and no vouchers.
  • "App" — the official Club Icon Bangladesh mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • "Hotel" / "the Hotel" — Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, the participating hotel under this Programme.
  • "Participating Outlets" — the restaurants, bars, spa, fitness facilities and other venues at the Hotel that accept membership benefits.
  • "Discount" — a percentage reduction on eligible bills, redeemable as many times as the member wishes during the 365 days of Membership Period.
  • "Voucher" — a single-use benefit (such as a complimentary buffet, complimentary room night, room upgrade or celebration cake), valid for one redemption only.
  • "Membership Period" — 365 days from the date of activation, during which all benefits remain valid.
  • "Member Help Desk" — the support team.
3. Membership Eligibility
  • Membership is available to individuals aged 18 years or above.
  • Membership is open to Bangladesh residents, Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) or foreign nationals.
  • Membership is non-transferable and valid only for the registered member. However, membership vouchers can be transferred.
  • Membership benefits can only be redeemed through the official Club Icon Bangladesh mobile application.
  • A valid email address and mobile number are required at enrolment. The member is responsible for keeping these details current.
4. Membership Usage
  • Advance reservation via the App or the Member Help Desk is mandatory, and the intent to use the voucher must be clearly stated at the time of booking.
  • Members must present their digital membership prior to bill generation.
  • Benefits cannot be applied after payment has been completed.
  • Membership benefits are applicable only at participating hotel/s and outlet/s.
  • Benefits, offers and participating outlets may change without prior notice.
5. Dining Benefits
  • Dining discounts and offers are applicable on food bills only unless otherwise stated.
  • Beverage discounts apply only on select beverages and exclude alcohol beverages.
  • Discounts are not applicable on taxes, service charges, tobacco products or retail merchandise.
  • Benefits may not be combined with other promotions, third-party discounts, vouchers, delivery platforms or special event pricing.
6. Reservations & Blackout Dates
  • Advance reservations are mandatory for all dining, stay, spa and other wellness experiences.
  • Benefits are subject to allocation availability and may not be valid on public holidays, holiday eves, special occasions, promotional events, or blackout dates, including Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, National Day and New Year’s Day.
  • Photo identification is required at check-in for all guests staying in the room.
  • The hotel reserves the right to limit benefit availability during high occupancy periods.
  • Extra-bed, rollaway and incidental charges are not included in any complimentary or discount voucher and will be billed separately at check-out.
  • Certain benefits may require minimum spend criteria or eligible rate plans.
  • Cancellation and amendment policies applicable to hotel reservations shall apply.
7. Complimentary & One-Time Benefits
  • Complimentary vouchers and one-time privileges are valid for single use only unless otherwise stated.
  • Lost, expired, or unused benefits will not be extended, replaced, or exchanged for cash.
  • Complimentary benefits hold no cash value.
8. Member Conduct
  • Members and their guests are expected to maintain appropriate conduct within hotel premises.
  • The hotel reserves the right to refuse membership benefits or admission in cases of inappropriate behaviour, misuse of benefits or violation of hotel policies.
9. Payments & Refunds
  • A member may cancel their membership within seven (7) days of purchase. The refund is only valid if the member has not utilized any discounts / voucher benefits from the membership programme.
  • Any membership benefits or programme misuse will result in suspension or cancellation without refund.
  • Memberships terminated for misuse, fraud, breach of these Terms or behavioural violations are not eligible for any refund.
  • Each individual may hold only one (1) active membership at any time. Duplicate memberships are not permitted and may be cancelled without refund.
10. Mobile Application
  • Membership access and benefit redemption require the Club Icon Bangladesh mobile application.
  • The programme restricts login access to one registered device at a time for security purposes.
  • Members are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their login credentials.
11. Privacy
  • By enrolling, members agree to receive programme-related communication, offers and updates via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or chat, including marketing messages.
  • If a member provides personal information of others (e.g. for spouse card application or referrals), they confirm they have obtained the necessary consent from those individuals.
  • Personal information will be handled in accordance with the programme’s Privacy Policy.
  • Personal data collected includes: name, contact details (email, mobile, address), date of birth, payment information, transaction history and benefit redemption activity.
  • Members may opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
o Clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email
o Replying STOP to any marketing SMS or WhatsApp message
o Updating notification preferences in the App
o Emailing the Member Help Desk
  • Service messages essential to the Programme cannot be opted out of for the duration of an active membership.
12. Programme Changes
Club Icon Bangladesh reserves the right to:
  • Modify membership benefits, participating outlets, offers or terms at any time.
  • Withdraw or replace benefits without prior notice.
  • Suspend or terminate memberships in case of misuse or breach of terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
Club Icon Bangladesh and participating hotel outlets shall not be liable for:
  • Technical failures within the mobile application.
  • Unavailability of specific benefits or outlets.
  • Indirect or consequential loss arising from programme usage.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, activating or using a Club Icon Bangladesh membership, the member acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
